Our community has been brought together from various protestant, pentacostal, catholic and evangelical backgrounds. Our vision is to invest in the lives of people in order to bring them to know and experience God's love. We live in an increasingly isolated world. It is our goal to break down the walls of isolation through providing a safe, comfortable, and pleasant place to meet people who care.The ReasonWe are asked: Why are you doing this?Answer: To serve God by serving others!

Outreach

Every person is body, heart, mind, and spirit. Our desire is to meet the needs of the whole person with a goal to give a hand up rather than a handout. In the past, this has included:Body: Practical help with physical needs such as: clothing, food pantry, help with utilites, help with medical needs, transportation assistance, occasional hot weather shelter, social service references available, financial support for other charities. (Sharing and Caring, Give Me Shelter Ministries, Smile Train, and Mahami Childrens Home)Mind: Teaching and learning. Topics include life skills, Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University, Financial Peace for Youth, provide one-on-one mentoring, demonstrate and encourage mannerly behavior in coffeehouse, encouraging volunteer work, provide access to games and literature.Heart: Emotional support. Coffeehouse is a safe and supervised place for social connection, staff lends an ear when needed and strives to provide a loving example.Spirit: Faith-based topical studies, provide spiritual encouragement, desire to collaborate with others of similar passions and beliefs.

Food Drive

Hello! In concert with the National Food Drive, we will be collecting non-perishable food this weekend at Convergence Coffeehouse. We operate 100% through donations and maintain a small food pantry for those in need. We are especially in need of rice, beans, pasta, pasta sauce, crackers, peanut butter, canned meats and soup, also canned pastas (like Chef Boyardee). Bring donations between 6-9PM Saturday or 5-7:30PM on Sunday . Times are hard and getting harder. Please help.

Voice of the Martyrs video

Voice of the Martyrs has designated Sunday Nov 13th as an International Day of Prayer for the persecuted church around the world. The organization exists to support Christians in other countries and to create more awareness of how widespread the persecution is.
